Disappointed
I found this podcast late last year and couldn't go through the archives quick enough. I found these three ladies to be fun, interesting, and real. It felt like I was sitting around the table with my best girlfriends eating, drinking wine, laughing, and having a great time. However, I feel like lately the podcast has really gone downhill. It's really hard to listen to conversation that seems shallow and vapid. I think the major thing that really put me over the edge was when they were talking about cord blood donation. The fact that you would talk about how disgusting it is, unless of course it had anti-aging qualities, but not actually use your ability to educate your listeners about it, quite frankly, disgusted me. I realize this could have been done out of jest or ignorance, but come on, ladies! You have this forum and these people that actually take the time out of their week to listen to you. You could have researched it and actually talked about something, something actually important, other than your lip gloss. Or not brought it up at all. I tried to listen for a few more weeks to see if things improved, but it seems like it only got worse. Now you can read this on the air, make fun of me, my grammar, my ideals, or the fact that I take things too seriously, but I don't care because I won't be listening.
