“I was a fan of the podcast UNTIL this last one... talking about seeing tattooed guys in Hawaii with the White Power on them... I was ok with it UNTIL it was mentioned they live in the Appalachian Mtns. This is what offended me the most. Typical west coast comment. We Appalachian folk are not all barefoot, tobacco chewing, shine drinking, idiots that narrow minded people like you portray us to be. We are Doctors, Lawyers. and forward thinking people with less bigotry against other races. It is the other part of the country that makes it look like we are hicks and hillbillies. Mainly that is what Hollywood and media wants to portray us to be. There IS life east of the Mississippi and yes we do wear shoes, and chew with our mouths closed. I am not a racist and do not condone the White power movement, however they have a right just like you to vacation where ever they want. That tattoo might have been something he got as a young man, and he might not believe in that any longer. But you jumped to conclusions that he was a bad person just because what is inked on his skin. You Jumped to conclusion that he is from Appalachia, which in fact he might have been from your state. So Disappointed ladies. I thought you guys were more open minded than that.. Good luck and I will not be a listener any longer, which is sad I enjoyed it before.”
