A desperate rehash of an old non-story, complete with “Young Ones” style anti thatcher propaganda. Of course the navy didn’t want details of a sub engagement in the midst of the Cold War picked over in public and I believe even the Captain of the Belgrano thought the story laughable at the time.

One of the best poddies I’ve listened to in a long time. Really well done. I was a teenager in 1982 and remember it well. Even then I was terrified of Margaret Thatcher!
