Our genial host Tom Scharpling gives pleasant counsel to the young people and the sort of crackpots who'd call in to a freeform radio talk show. Then the bomb hits. A seemingly normal interview will start to get stranger and stranger, until a man calling himself The Gorch is claiming to be the inspiration for the Fonz, and the creator of a regional 1960s rock hit called "Chain Fight Tonight." It is very nice to see the Best Show on a podcast. If you haven't heard this show before be prepared to laugh out loud. Great stuff.

It might seem daunting to start a 3 hour podcast, but after a couple episodes, you will be wishing it was longer. If you don't get it, it's your own fault; this show isn't for egg-heads. It does more than live up to its name, simply The Best Show.Read full review »
