Would give 0 stars if I could.
Don’t waste your time with this one. This is the worst of the “recap” podcasts out there, for many reasons. 1: ladies, SLOW. DOWN. You can breathe and speak at the same time. Speeding through words to get all the zingers out before the other person does it makes for an exhausting, stressful time for listeners. I found myself 2: do you even watch the show? There is very little content here; it’s mostly the hosts congratulating themselves for something irrelevant, rather than a breakdown of the show’s episodes. Today (after week 4 of Becca’s season), Aleen was surprised to hear that there’s been some controversy with some of the front-runners. Are you kidding? It’s one thing to try to avoid spoilers; it’s another entirely to be completely unaware of the content. Do your homework, please. 3: if I wanted to listen to 30-plus minutes of Mean Girling, I’d spend lunch hour at the local high school. It’s fine to bring show-adjacent folks on as guests; lots of other Bachelor podcasts do so successfully. It is NOT fine to give those people a platform to be spiteful and gross (I am specifically thinking of Corinne here). I had unsubscribed before but thought I’d give this podcast another shot for Becca’s season; I’m unsubscribing permanently today. Folks, try “Here To Make Friends” or “Rosecast” or “Bros Before Rose” for terrific podcast recaps. Stick with the written Betchelor recaps and leave this audio nonsense in the trash where it belongs.

Rarely do these women offer anything insightful or even funny. They’re constantly misremembering facts about the show and trash talking, seemingly just for the sake of being mean. ‘Bachelor Party’ on the Ringer Network and ‘Here to Make Friends’ from Huff Post are way more fun to listen to if...Read full review »

Assuming a majority of the betch audience are Jewish East Coasters (from LI and NJ), I found it odd how Aileen bashed NJ for five minutes. I’m from Westchester but can confidently say the places my Jersey friends are from are beautiful. Also, it’s just not that funny if a podcast.
