“I really enjoyed the audio book, The Bialy Pimps, by Johnny B. Truant. I loved the overall message conveying that a business flourishes when workers feel empowered to be creative and spontaneous. Described is a work environment that is a fun and wacky. Boredom is tedious and stifling. The customers are attracted to an experience offering an obnoxious and refreshing dose of energy and vitality. This book is very entertaining and funny and is well written and read by the author. There are many memorable colorful descriptions of grossness and lewdness. I laughed at the very amusing descriptions of dog behavior. I can see vividly the décor of the restaurant and have a clear picture of the wall phone. I liked this book more and more as I progressed through the chapters. At the end I felt very attached and connected to the characters. I want to hear more about cool people in the future.”
