“Whether you’re a bible fan or not, you will enjoy the Bible binge. It’s hilarious and snarky, just what we expect from Knox and Jamie, and also points out the funny little nuances of each story that we often miss (especially if we’ve read them 1 million times). Not only that, but it reminds us that the Bible stories are totally relevant, and the characters are real people just like people on this planet here and now. At the same time as laughs, there’s heartfelt sincerity when discussing God in these stories, and how he shows up in relationship to humans. I absolutely love the way this podcast gets me thinking about the bible and God without any feelings of pressure, guilt, or forced piety. I always walk away understanding God’s love and desire for relationship with me better than I did before. The “gentle rebukes” at the end of each episode are a great touch, and I always learn a lot with new twists on old stories.”
