December 13 also marked the 22nd anniversary of 2001 parliament attack. Two young men, Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D, jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber, shouting anti-establishment slogans and opened smoke canisters. The Bihar Assembly on Thursday unanimously passed a bill to increase reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Extremely Backward Classes in state jobs and educational institutions to 65 per cent.
