He was featured in the book The Big Year by Mark Obmascik and the character of Kenny Bostick in the movie, based on the book, was, in part, based on some of Sandy’s exploits. His own book, I Came, I Saw, I Counted, recounts his 1998 Big Year and should be required reading for anyone planning his or her own Big Year.
