“I really shouldn’t like this. Over complicated 5e rules, lots of maxing out character abilities, throw in a bit of meta-gaming every now and then; not what an OSR grog like me is supposed to like. BUT the interaction between the players and DM is brilliant and is EXACTLY what a D&D game is all about for me. Very British (well English really) in terms of the humour and banter/joshing/stick between them all but highly entertaining. A top class demonstration of the art of DM’ing too .”
