“Feel weird taking this so seriously but it’s got to be said. I loved listening to Bach Chat every week/twice weekly last year, but it’s got progressively more and more whittled down (currently I think we’re at about 16ish minutes per week) and that’s been disappointing. Currently, Clare and Jessie do their best but they’re not anything compared to the nuance and insight of Zara and Michelle, and not even as intelligently dry as Rachel was with Honey Badger’s season. The last episode I listened to was mostly giggling and laughing, and when you’re listening to a podcast, too much of that is offputting for people listening, however close the hosts are to each other. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind them, but there’s too much giggling, and not enough intelligent discussion about the nuances of reality TV and how the issues play out in our wider social context. Please make it smarter!!!”
