“Was a fan of this podcast. Didn’t necessarily agree with all of Saifedean’s hard right views, but found him to be immensely intelligent on Bitcoin and other topics.
Just today he blocked me on Twitter, which is very strange, since I am a nobody on Twitter.
To be very clear, I have never interacted with @saifedean on Twitter aside from following him and liking a few of his tweets from time to time.
I suspect he blocked me because he saw a thread exchange I had with a different bitcoin maxi / gun nut / anti-gov account. (Not about Bitcoin, actually about kids & gun safety. And by the way, that account did not block me, just called me names).
It’s something I see more and more with the Bitcoin community. Absolute hostility to anything resembling civil discourse and a trigger happy cancel culture.
Bananas. Anyways, I guess I’ll stop listening to your podcast now, Saifedean. Enjoy the one star review.”
