An engaging podcast about the American South
As a gay southern man born and raised in Tennessee, I absolutely love this podcast and page. I love how you all are creating discussions that need to happen. You show why so many love it, but also why so many leave it. I’m so thankful for this page. Thank you for showing the good, the bad, and the ugly. I’m now in the active duty military and whenever I need a cure to my homesickness. I come here and I’m instantly healed. Thank you.

More reviews of The Bitter Southerner Podcast
Best listen I’ve had in months about positive change happening in small towns by regular people. If you want to take a break from the complainer’s doom and gloom and sarcasm, enjoy hearing how some communities are making lemonade from lemons.

Redeemed? Other than communists and carpetbaggers infiltrating the South, it’s just great. The North needs to be redeemed. History does not revolve around blacks.

This podcast provides a nuanced view of what it means to be a southerner-good and bad. My only complaint is that the season is too short!
