Long lost Southern Boy
I left Louisiana when I was 14, and never looked back, having given up hope that there were any sane people there. Now I know I was hoping to find just a few liberals. This podcast reminds me of how much I had to leave to get away from Southern bigotry. I appreciate the work y’all are doing. Yer tuggin’ on my heart strings and gettin’ me all mixed up and feelin’ a little blue. Which is good for my soul. It’s important for me to feel how much I love my roots. I’m what they call a coonass from Loosiana. Notin’ ever gonna change that.
