So much more potential but feel short of expectations
Was so excited to hear an in depth podcast with Daniel Thomson but was so disappointed I had to write a review (and I never write reviews). Scott jumped around all over the place with lots of awkward pauses, he missed the interesting parts and comes off as an money grubbing non-core industry dude asking questions like did getting this Firewire deal get you rich, did you get a house, did it get you a wife or a girlfriend, did you get famous, etc. can’t believe he didn’t ask basic questions like what was your journey to get where you are (pre Firewire) how did you come up with your ideas and what were your influences, tell me more about your design principles, digging into some of Tomo’s innovations, etc. Maybe Scott did but I shut it off after 40 minutes. Am really hoping Scott takes this feedback to heart and improve because there needs be a good podcast focused on board design.

Scott, I’ve learned more about surf culture from your podcasts over the last couple years than I did spending decades reading surfer and surfing magazines growing up. Thank you. Keep em coming. Boogie Handplane Brian 🤙🏻
