Description
At the World Congress of Back Pain, it was said that nine in 10 people will have back pain at some point in their life. Of course that will occur in varying degrees. What I have seen a lot in my work, working with injuries as a CHEK practitioner, is that many people who have back injuries are given such a glass ceiling with their diagnosis and treatment options. So if nine in 10 of us are going to experience back pain, what can we do about it? For those who have it severely, what hope do we have? Why is there such a high incidence of back pain? And just what is safe as you know so many people are told never to deadlift again.
Today, my guest is Donal Carr, Chek Faculty and CHEK Practitioner and wait for it, my first ever mentor in the fitness industry. You see, almost 20 years ago, Donal Carr interviewed me to be accepted as a Personal Trainer and he was in fact the reason that I became a CHEK practitioner.
I have watched Donal rehabilitate some of the most complicated injuries over the years and it is my pleasure to have him here today on the show to discuss the Myths of Back Pain.
In the episode we discuss:
Different types of back injuries

Scar Tissue
