Very interesting!
Interesting and engaging. I appreciate that the tension about developing such a terrible weapon is acknowledged. This is really mythical history and there is a lot of links to the psychic tension that accompanies the super extreme technological development of our time and the loss of innocence that has accompanied it. We are having a collective reckoning about the last 200 years right now and this story is a key part of that story. This is the story of heroes.

I had high hopes for this podcast. While the history and science is interesting, it’s not explained well.
