Amy Ruffle is an actress, comedian & all-round entertainer. In her adolescent years, Amy trained & competed as an elite diver. It was the early foundation of a relationship with perfectionism that eventually proved to be detrimental to her health, leading her down the path of an eating disorder that she courageously & vulnerably opens up about in the episode. From the age of 13, acting was on the radar. After leaving school Amy studied musical theatre before landing her first role on TV in Netflix's 'Mako Mermaids'. The show lasted 4 seasons before she left Australia to pursue a career in Hollywood. The 6 years spent in LA introduced her to improv comedy which has no doubt played a major role in her career development & her recent work as one of the consistent faces on the most recent season of Australian TV classic 'Thank God You're Here'. She is also a producer, writer & passionate advocate for a few worthy causes that are close to her heart. Outside of her career, Amy's life has had its fair share of adversity, twists & turns, which made for an honest & vulnerable conversation.
