Description
There are generally many healthy (walking on a freeway, standing on a train track, walking to close to a cliff, etc.), but only one fear will lead you to life: fear of God. We face numerous fears that can cause us to shrink back. Some can lead to sleepless nights, unhealthy thoughts, and flesh maintenance. We often predict the worse possible outcome even though we don’t know the outcome. A clever acronym to remember: False Evidence Appearing Real (FEAR). A healthy fear of God leads us to knowledge, understating, and humility. Fear of circumstances can bring unwarranted anxiety. Fear of man can cause us to compromise, lose confidence, and it can keep us from our calling. When the spirit of fear strikes, it always rooted in unbelief. Remembering His perfect love and our eternal destiny can get us through every fear. ----- How would you describe your fears? How do you react? In your own words, describe your fear of God. Is it healthy or unhealthy? How does God’s perfect love cast out fear?  Do you have a go to scripture verse or promise that helps alleviate fear?
