“After listening to The Bridge for the second time, I’m putting all my thoughts here and hoping I convince someone out there to listen to this show, because it deserves to be found and heard and loved by more people. It combines found family and clever subversion of horror tropes and complicated characters and SO much sass and too many other awesome things to name. It’s so atmospheric, and the voice acting and music are incredible. It’s hilarious, heartwarming and also heartbreaking, dark, twisty, multilayered, and packed with alternate-timeline lore, using stories-within-a-story in strange and surprising ways. It has one of the best representations of depression out there, alongside a beautiful portrayal of a ragtag team turning into a family. Etta, Bertie, Kate, and Roger have so much personality and heart and are some of my favorite audio drama characters. Give the first few episodes a listen—you may well fall in love with it like I did.”
