Why the muzak?
Great content, as ever, and excellent management of the discussion by David Aaronovitch, but why the awful background music during what is usually an excellent introductory section which sets the context for the programme? It is distracting, irrelevant and totally, utterly unnecessary. Stop it!

In a world where news seems to be so dumbed down and even the BBC television documentaries all have a patronising slow beginning which summarises the documentary, these podcasts come as a welcome injection of stimulating thought and analysis and opinion.

POV of a 25 yr old. This is one of the rare BBC podcasts I have time for any more - giving an actual measured/alternative view of one specific topic. A lot of BBC content is either hysterical, dummed down or on point like this one!
