Honestly, my favourite podcast there is.
Does Emma provide insightful and valuable information for her listeners? Yes. Would I also consider her an expert in the field? Also yes. Does she bring on wonderful and knowledgeable guests and conduct incredible interviews? Check and check. And while these are all incredibly important attributes of a podcast, my favourite thing about Emma and The Broke Generation is just straight up that she’s not annoying. I don’t feel ‘less than’ listening to her, I don’t feel condescended to or like she’s putting on airs. I often feel in podcasts like there’s a lot of fake enthusiasm, even pretentiousness, but with TBG I feel like I’m listening to a conversation between two friends, but more notably, I feel like I’m their mate as well. TLD: this is a great podcast for anyone interested in mental health, financial well being and general hilarious commentary on millennial life. Bonus: you will learn hard skills and valuable tips, and won’t walk away feeling like an underachieving POS.

As someone who isn’t naturally money minded but wants to be, Emma makes all those tricky adult financial decisions so much more sensical! Also love following the...Read full review »
