To me, this podcast is a refreshing blend of honesty, stories, and all around comraderie. Chris and Schafer make a great team, they have fantastic guests on, and ask interesting questions. There are tales of epic failures, thrilling successes, discussion of technique and equipment, and general solidarity in the ups and downs of traditional bowhunting. This is not a podcast of rehashed and recycled hunting tips. If you take yourself too seriously, don’t listen- they’re not as hardcore or as cool as you. After a couple episodes, they have a way of feeling like guys you’ve known for a long time. Beards will be mocked, wood arrows will be lauded, and auditory hijinx will occur. So pull up a camp chair and join the circle.

First of all to all the people leaving negative reviews, being a huge D won’t make yours bigger. The podcast is like chatting with guys at the bow shop, a mix of entertainment and information. I personally like the feel that they are still learning this game
