“I’m an old-school liberal. I was sad when the Daily Standard went down with the Weekly Standard because it was the few conservative outlets that educated me without offending me. It was thoughtful and fair. So I was excited when I heard about The Bulwark. Charlie Sykes is brilliant and fair. His and his guests’ insights help me understand “the other side” in a compelling way. My only criticism is that he and his guests sometimes attack the left with over generalizations, akin to the left wrongly describing the right based on the actions of Stephen King or Donald Trump alone. Nonetheless, The Bulwark is a podcast for folks sitting on both sides of the aisle.”
