He had the opportunity to participate in multiple international Qur’an competitions after completing his memorization. Thereafter, Shaykh Junayed started his pursuit for higher learning at DUNY for and completed 4 years of studies. He was then accepted into the College of Qur’an at the Islamic University of Madinah. He is the second American graduate from the College of Qur’an at the Islamic University of Madinah and is an Ashara Qari.
