“I am a physician still in fellowship training, and realized midway through that I wanted to pursue a career in either the pharmaceutical industry or the federal government. I, like most others, have no prior industry experience. The process is difficult and you do need to put in a lot of legwork yourself, but you also need quality resources to guide you through. Marjorie’s podcast is not just helpful in the process, I would call it ESSENTIAL.
Largely because of her advice in the podcast on tailoring my resume, on networking, and on the interview process, I got an offer for both a position in the pharmaceutical industry as well as from the FDA, and actually had to turn down a third industry interview. I ended up taking the FDA offer.
This podcast is worth its weight in gold and I can confidently say I would not have gotten these offers otherwise. If you are looking at this review and seriously considering the transition, please take note that this is a KEY resource!! I cannot recommend it enough. I will definitely be using it even after my new career, as there are very important things to learn about how to thrive in the new environment that some episodes focus on as well!
