Excellent, yet not perfect.
Listening from Italy I admit first and foremost, that some topics result slightly unappealing and foreign. I guess the car market mostly and the cultural differences amongst Northern California, the whole of the USA, Europe and Italy make the gap. Hence some episodes are too far in topics and themes to be appreciated. I love the podcast. I have been following since the days of Issimi and just have a deep appreciation for the very good job and admire sincerely Jason and Derek. I understand it’s totally inapplicable, but I would like to listen sometimes to J&D’s opinions translated into a language speaking to English listeners from out of the US, (I’m very curious towards Lucid cars, Rivian, the lot; I agree EVs are “one choice” and a perfect tool/appliance to move yourself and fellows around, but some episodes really speak to the people down your driveway). Being a car enthusiast, having the privilege of being fluent in English, I rely my keeping myself informed mostly to British or American “automotive outlets”. I have no problem to withstand feeling sometimes apart from the intended public, but it’s sometimes a pity to feel left “standing up at the bottom of the conference room”.

More reviews of The Carmudgeon Show
This show has just the right amount of car nerd/goofy/interesting/not bro-ie/not based solely on expensive cars. This show actually made me rethink about what I enjoy in driving.

So excited to have the show back! The Hyphen-Discount Sandler duo is amazingly entertaining and surprisingly informative. I have lost count of how many times I have listened to each episode. This show has saved me on many a long drive or choir filled weekend. Hope it goes on forever!

I listened to a couple of these which I found interesting but then I got to the cyber truck episode. One of the hosts kept suggesting that Elon Musk kills his employees for various reasons. I don’t care either way about Elon but if you can’t hold you weirdo bias back I can’t take the show seriously.
