Good podcast but sometimes elitist view of fishing
I enjoy this podcast and the very informal style and the occasional sound of beer cans in the background. Sam and his guests have some excellent insights into carp baits and I value them taking the time to share them with the wider community. My reason for not giving it 5 stars is that sometimes Sam can come across as a bit of a fishing elitist; with a bit of a dim view of commercial fisheries - seeing them as not being proper fishing. Sam fails to recognise that not everyone can afford to be a syndicate member. Or that demand for membership of syndicates outstrips supply and that many anglers are left for years on waiting lists.

I listen to a lot of podcasts as I do a lot of driving and the carp angler chronicles are one of the best. I love the bait talk and the length of the podcasts, these guys have got me through a lot of long drives. Keeps it up lads, you’re going from strength to strength 👍🏻
