The war on journalism happening from within.
I knew this story was serious, but I had no idea just how bad things are within the mainstream media until listening to this podcast. At the heart of the Weinstein sexual assault story is a much bigger story about the control over the freedom of information in the United States. Ronan Farrow and his colleague’s brilliant work in Catch and Kill exposed not only one man’s twisted abuse of power over women, but also revealed an entire network of rich & powerful people using their influence to silence victims and investigative journalism. The recent news about ABC killing the Epstein story is further evidence of this industry-wide problem. Paired with political narratives and biased punditry, the actions that media executives throughout the industry take to kill stories unintentionally gives credibility to the worst kind of people & institutions who are now empowered to cry “fake news” whenever their misdeeds are exposed. This shocking podcast will leave you with your jaw on the floor.

More reviews of The Catch and Kill Podcast with Ronan Farrow
Absolutely fantastic look at how Ronan Farrow reported a story that changed American culture. Also the woman who reads the ads sounds... amazing

I bought the Audible version of “Catch & Kill” and enjoyed it, except for the subject matter. Great reporting from a first-class storyteller! Highly recommend this book. I just found out about the podcast, so looking forward to the ride!
