Good; Could be Great
I’m always confused as to why the podcast starts mid-conversation. The discussion gets cut up with musical breaks and I feel like it’s more of a “podcast-lite.” This is confusing to me because it seems to be academically oriented, but yet, any academic book I’ve ever read requires deep engagement with the topic. This podcast is good (and I always love the speakers and topics), yet it seems to be so fast. I would prefer to hear the 2-4 hour version of these conversations. I acknowledge that would require much more work from a production standpoint and would make it more difficult for some folks to get scheduled, but as someone who studies these topics deeply, I’d love to hear this podcast move toward more long-form.

Really enjoyed last week’s episode on scripture and policing in America. It was a thoughtful look at a difficult issue and was helpful to me as I process current issues.
