“I wanted to like this podcast, and I kinda do, but there is one thing in every episode that drags it down: they take forever to actually start talking about Zelda!
They’ll talk about gaming news, game impressions, and sometimes not even about games at all. It would be fine if it was only 5 minutes or so at the beginning, but when it’s half the episode, its so frustrating and I have to keep skipping ahead and try to find when they start talking about something interesting.
I don’t listen to Zelda podcasts to hear about other games, there is a bajillion other places for that, I want to hear about Zelda.
It’s a shame too, because some of their Zelda topics are very interesting, like their episode about how to make a good Zelda movie or how it would look like in other gaming genres. I enjoyed listening to those, I just wish they could’ve jumped straight in and skipped the filler.
Oh and this is nit-picky, but Taylor’s lack of respect for Wind Waker brings it down another half star, haha”
