The best friend is incoherent to obnoxious degrees with catchphrases. The host audibly gets more self-satisfied as she gets more established and popular. It’s like a serial killer turning and winking at the screen mid-movie. And then there’s the sound design, where she doesn’t understand that you don’t NEED to have a sound for every single word. “I gasped in shock.” *sound clip of a girl gasping in shock.*
