I’ve quickly become hooked on the Chris Plante show- I really enjoy his pointed remarks, his unmatched sense of humor and his think-out-loud style of broadcasting. When the solid 3 hour recording from WMAL became three 40-minute podcasts with Spanish Geico ads and a minute of dead air instead of the regular studio ads, I went along with it. But I just listened to yesterday’s show, posted in the old format for some reason, and I have to admit I have missed the daily Washington traffic reports, the convenience of a single podcast, the authentic Chris Plante bumper music, and even the goofy local news stories. I have no idea why Chris’s show can’t be posted as an hour and twenty minutes of Chris only, complete with his bumper music and with the ads simply cropped out (à la Mark Levin). But until that mystery is solved- and perhaps it may never be- my vote is for the complete unedited version. If anyone’s counting votes.”
