“As much as I love Talkin’ Baseball and Wake n Jake, I think Baseball Today is the bes show in the Jomboy network. Rose brings his professionalism and experience to create a well-oiled machine. He’s the engine that drives this show, and he makes sure it’s tight and moves along, but he also allows time for banter that lets their personalities shine. Great show, but I have one TINY nitpick. It kinda irks me the way Rose says “Producer Dan along for the ride.” That makes Dan sound inconsequential and like he’s just lucky to be there. The producer is incredibly important, especially on a format like this that has a tight timeline and a ton of video clips. I know Rose wouldn’t purposely diminish what Dan does for the show, but I’ve worked in media for my whole adult life and it always kinda hits my ear wrong when he says the producer is just “along for the ride.” Again, tiny nitpick. Fantastic show. Thank you, gentlemen!”
