… or rather two: put in the right places as witnessed personally in Kerala/India decades ago; and (to follow up on Hassan’s conclusions): none of this is either impossible or unaffordable (nor is it magic belief); it’s really about courage to have a closer look at what has worked and may be repurposed for modern cities, even beautiful as we have just heard about Cairo’s legacy; more often than not invisible until we enquire (as I happened to do in response to passive cooling when no one else seemed interested): what is it, why does it work so well? No rocket science for sure - as probably every other solution is that truly benefits humanity on the scale needed. Let’s hear about more of these solutions as we’ve by now learned what simply doesn’t live up to expectations. Many thanks for yet another amazing episode!
