Unethical and frustrating.
I’m only on episode 3 but I feel that the interview with the survivor on the island was unethical and should not have been included in the podcast. That man suffered more than I can comprehend during his time on the island and for the producers of this podcast to include his panic attack for dramatic effect is disgusting. I understand that he chose to return to the island and that he’s entitled to that choice but don’t re-traumatize him and then include it in the podcast for your own gain. If you’re so bothered by what happened to the boys in this story then act like it. Also call rape rape. Don’t downplay it to make it more palatable for the audience.
