Welcome to episode #163 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!
In this episode, we have some new news regarding season 3 of MWIII, and what we can expect to see at launch on April 3rd. Compared to the past two seasons however, the content is a bit lacking, and we hope this isn’t a trend going forward for future seasons. We cover the importance of adding fresh content to the game, and most importantly; new maps. We talk about how this game has cashed in on the nostalgia train for most, and how this has become a new trend in gaming, and how it may not be the solution for long term success with a game. We share our thoughts on previous titles in the franchise, and how they achieved success and became fan favorite CODs.
Are you going to be playing season 3 of MWIII as much, or are you slowing down?
What do you think about games tapping into nostalgia? Is that a big selling point for you, or do you want to play a completely new game with new content? What is your favorite Call of Duty from the past 5 years, and why? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week.
