Welcome to episode #180 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we are coming off of the week of COD Champs, with OpTic Texas being the 2024 CDL World Champions! We recap the weekend, the surprises throughout, and what this means for OpTic and the other teams currently in the league as we prepare for EWC and for next season in Black Ops 6. Along with this, season 5 of MWIII has arrived, and we break down the roadmap, specifically the new maps, guns, and modes that we will be seeing throughout. We give our initial thoughts on these, as well as an overview of how the content level has been within this COD title, and if they have gotten better or worse as the year has gone on.
