True crime with an open ending, resolving nothing, & hurting those involved along the way.
Opening another wound with another family only to leave the audience wondering “what was the point of listening to that?” Not only is it a not-feel-good story in the bleak world we live in today, but the host takes it a step further by bad-mouthing Laramie along the way only to proudly point out that the lesson she learned in the end was that her young, adolescent brained, high-school memories of a town she once lived in weren’t as bad as she thought - shocker!!!! The only stand-apart aspect is her interviewing the prime suspect; but even this leaves you with a yucky taste in your mouth as she prods an elderly man in ill-health and his wife about things they said as elderly people in ill-health. The ending was to absolutely die for… are you ready?… they did not uncover any new evidence, did not move the case along in any meaningful way, and criticized the small-town Laramie police department struggling with the case with much more limited resources than the NYT! Do not recommend. -100/10. Would not eat at again.

We know these times are the most important but bias keeps police from doing their best. Working against police bias and giving them resources for those early days...Read full review »

Not sure i understand why this was broken up into so many small pieces aside from the algorithm. Episodes end kind of at random. But at least it was dropped all at once.
