Sarah my sister in Christ
I found out about Sarah from an episode of the Don’t mom alone podcast and just connected with her. Not only does she have a euphonious voice but she is beautifully vulnerable and feels like a sweet older sister (I’ve always wanted a sister). I’ve always felt jealous about friends who have great relationships with their mothers and am so determined to be “the momma I never had” to my girls but the Lord is really working on me to bring me to a place of peace and by listening to Sarah’s story and the things she’s learned, I feel less alone, I am turning my own bitterness and hurt into grieving and honoring my mom for who she is and not for who I wish she would be. Sarah, you’ve given me moments to think about deeper and bring things to the Lord, and I appreciate you sharing your experience because the Lord is redeeming so much of your story to bring Him glory. So thankful for your voice and story.

I’ve been loving Sarah Mae’s podcast. I particularly enjoyed the episode with Dannah Gresh, as I also grew up in purity culture and I’ve been wrestling with how to raise my own children.

I haven’t come across much about the mother daughter relationship so I am excited about reading your book and the people you interview are awesome! I just listened to the one with Alia Joy and it came at such a great time!
