Beautiful approach to lament
What hardship and what beauty is found in Amy’s story. Thank you for sharing, for being vulnerable. It is heartbreaking to hear all you have gone through. Such depth of pain and loss. I really resonated with your embrace (but not wallowing) in each season or each moment as it comes. God walks with us through the grief and pain. Never does he fly us over it. Thank you for your teaching and embracement of lament. I also liked the distinction of complaining and lamenting. Private vs public, clenched fists vs a letting go. Not avoiding the feelings but still holding on to God’s promises as we walk with Him. And how sweet it is to remember them His presence as we think back. Thank you Sarah for facilitating such a place to talk about the hard parts of life.

I first learned about Sarah Mae from Sally and read their book “desperate.” I’ve enjoyed following her FB and blog and can relate to a lot of the mom issues. This podcast is a good addition in sharing her experiences and information.
