I can overcome my pain and anger.
I heard sarahmae on Annie F Downs’ podcast about her relationship with her mother and I was moved. The way she was able to speak so freely and openly about a traumatic pain was inspiring. God has been revealing to me so much, and I’ve been beginning to realize that I have the tendency to dismiss my own feelings of anger towards those who hurt me. God is good. He uses things like this to reveal to me ways to forgive others and love them through the pain. In reality we break his heart every day with our sin yet he loves us through it and I want to be more like that. Thank you sarahmae for being an ambassador to me and showing me that I am still capable of love and being loved even though I’m broken. I’ve shared the gaslighting podcast with so many of my friends who I know need it as much as I do and I’m so excited for more of your words to come! I also ordered the book and I’m so excited to read and be set free. Thank you.

Someone finally gave a name to what I experienced as trauma in a friendship relationship that if it were not for the grace of God, I might be in jail for the manipulative, insidious things she did and said to me and about me. That person can never be a part of my life ever again. When Diane was...Read full review »
