Falling back in love with composers
I spent a LOT of years in undergrad and grad school studying music and composers, and honestly, for a while I was tapped out. Listening to Stephen on the Composer Chronicles has helped me fall back in love with learning about the history of the people behind the music that I love to listen to and perform. He gives their stories life and shows how the lives of these composers affected their works, rather than just giving dates and random facts. I even loved listening to the Wagner episode... and I don’t like Wagner! Haha. This podcast is definitely staying in my playlist!
