Four middle-aged youngsters rambling.
Though ostensibly about computer gaming, though only one of the quartet actually uses a computer to game and he is obviously the star of the show, this podcast is basically a British middle-aged male omni-shambles. This rambling and the seemingly random subject matter allows for some mickey-taking that eventually arrives at somebody appearing to be very annoyed, and this is so symptomatic of male bonding within this nation that it always feels like a real friendship exposed to an audience. As I am somewhat older than the quartets members it reminds me of friendships past, always fondly. But is it any good? Good is subjective and I’d let you decide, but I have a very fond spot for its 2 hours of merrymaking on a Wednesday. Never stop gents, or your loyal fans will haunt you via the socials.

As a new listener, this is a breath of fresh air. Real people talking about games and life with a decent dose of pure silliness 😀

James is the Karl Pilkington to Dave Turner's Ricky Gervais, and it's often hilarious. But all the chaps are fun to listen to, so long as they (James) remember to press 'record'.Read full review »
