Israel - Palestinian Conflict October 13
Why in this episode are you saying that The Jewish people wanted their own State in Palestine and that the Palestinian people didn’t want it and them conflict ensued without mentioning Britain’s causing this entire conflict by insisting that thousands and thousands of Jewish people were brought over to Palestine and took over the homes of the Palestinian people? The conflict did not begin with either the Palestinians or the Israelis. It began with Britain forcing this on Palestine and because of that, antisemitism has worsened. You say the conflict began once they were there and give absolutely no accountability on Britain whatsoever and no mention of the Balfour Declaration. All I have been hearing about is how the Palestinians hate the Jews and from the Jews, all I am hearing about is how ‘only one side voted!’ Well ya, they did not want this and were not given a choice. Why is Britain not taking responsibility for starting this conflict in the first place whereas for hundreds of years Muslims, Jewish folks and Christians all lived in relative harmony. This comment is not about Hamas and the killing of innocent people. This is about people who lived in a country/state whatever you want to call it being given no choice over what happens to their homes and lives they knew because they did not participate in a vote over their own homes. What did Britain think was going to happen and why is NOBODY addressing that question? It is irresponsible of you to even comment on how this conflict began if you aren’t going to discuss the Balfour Declaration

Although I believe that the BBC tries to be balanced on their reporting, this podcast cannot hide their unconscious bias against Israel. The focus is heavily weighted towards what is happening in Gaza, with much less focus on Israeli trauma. As an example, the final episode spent 22 mins...Read full review »
