The guest for this episode is Mac and he shares his experience getting a DUI, possible jail time, court, impact on his family, and losing his FAA medical. Mac was in the process of becoming a professional pilot and had completed up to his commercial pilot's certificate. When he had the DUI, his dreams of becoming a professional pilot were put on hold indefinitely, and possibly forever. The process to get an FAA medical after having a DUI arrest is difficult beyond having a medical exam by a HIMS Aviation Medical Examiner. Mac details the process of getting his medical back, cost involved in getting a DUI, and how the DUI changed his life.
