Beautifully written and full of wonder
How to describe this podcast... a little humor, a little sci fi, a little weird, but grounded in a profound love of the natural world. As someone who grew up on Wild Kingdom and graduated to David Attenborough via Neil Gaiman and Doctor Who, The Cryptonaturalist ticks all the boxes for me. I have thoroughly enjoyed every episode. The “Hidden Lore” poetry and fiction segment is a wonderful feature, sharing some truly remarkable work by other writers as well.
