“The host gets great guests and has in depth conversations that give fascinating insight into the experiences of survivors of high-demand groups. However she goes into long monologues about her own experiences or wordy reflections that essentially repeat what the guest just said. This makes for very fragmented conversations that meander and are ultimately hard to listen to. I understand if this is to gain repoir with the guest but The host should edit these shows in a way that the guest and their story is the main focus. She should also work in her interview style do that she listens more and talks less. In the stories Im interested in I actually have to fast forward the host just to get to the content of the interview. I have heard guests that seemed eager to talk but get worn down by the end.”
