“I had an experience with a milder form of cult that took me a long time to process and recover from. Literally had to re-evaluate all of my views, opinions and even my personality to determine what I actually thought and felt, and who I was. This show had helped me understand that my experience was not that different from what others have gone through, and also that I was fortunate that I had people outside the community I left to help me get back to reality. I appreciate this show for its compassionate approach to the survivors.”

“It disturbs me how harshly the host criticizes people who’ve belonged to these groups, and then goes out of her way on social media to attack them. It takes away credibility and overall leaves a gross feeling. There are way more professional shows available.”
