I want to like this podcast
This show has promise. The host could be good, and the show could be great. But she does not let her guests talk. For example, at the end of episode 140, she asks what advice the guest would give people trying to get out of his old religious group. She lets him talk for a bit. Then she host-splains back his answer to him in a 3 minute monologue that goes in a totally different direction. The best part is when, after she has talked for literally minutes, she says “I think that’s some really great advice you’ve just given.” The show also needs more editing. No podcast episode needs to be over two hours long. They could save a lot of time just by cutting a lot of the host’s mental meanderings. I’m not trying to be mean. I actually hope she sees this and tries to modify her interview style. She has promise and she gets good guests. I’ve really enjoyed the episodes about the troubled teen industry. Those are some of the best interviews! But she needs to listen more, talk less, and edit more.

Glad you got a story but as the sister of Madison Ryan she only tells lies. Our mother was never an addict. Shes tried so hard for Madison but she only wants attention....Read full review »

Amazing, interesting, no ads (which seems impossible in this day and age), I can listen for hours, well researched, nice voice.
